چکیده
A survey of pairing properties of nucleonic matter is presented that includes the off-shell propagation associated with short-range and tensor correlations. For this purpose, the gap equation has been solved in its most general form employing the complete energy and momentum dependence of the normal self-energy contributions. The latter correlations include the self-consistent calculation of the nucleon self-energy that is generated by the summation of ladder diagrams. This treatment preserves the conservation of particle number unlike approaches in which the self-energy is based on the Brueckner-Hartree-Fock approximation. A huge reduction in the strength as well as temperature and density range of 3S13D1 pairing is obtained for nuclear matter as compared to the standard BCS treatment. Similar dramatic results pertain to 1S0 pairing of neutrons in neutron matter.

Scalar three-body force and the properties of the three-nucleon system with the dressed-bag model for N N interaction. Abstract. A multi-component formalism is developed to describe three-body systems with nonstatic pairwise interactions and non-nucleonic degrees of freedom. The dressed-bag model for N N interaction based on the formation of an intermediate six-quark bag dressed by a σ-field is...

This is a review of the latest developments in the theory of superdense nuclear matter, formed in relativistic heavy ion collisions or in the core of collapsed stars, as they were reported and discussed at the Quark Matter 2005 conference in Budapest (Hungary).

Several pairing schemes currently used to describe superfluid nuclei through Hartree-Fock-Bogolyubov (HFB) calculations are briefly reviewed. We put a particular emphasis on the regularization recipes used in connection with zero-range forces and on the density dependence which usually complement their definition. Regarding the chosen regularization process, the goal is not only to identify the...

Two of the key issues in understanding the neutron-to-proton ratio in a core-collapse supernova are discussed. One of these is the behavior of the neutrino-nucleon cross sections as supernova energies. The other issue is the many-body properties of the neutrino gas near the core when both one-and two-body interaction terms are included.

We review self-consistent spectral methods for nuclear matter calculations. The in-medium T −matrix approach is conserving and thermodynamically consistent. It gives both the global and the single-particle properties the system. The T −matrix approximation allows to address the pairing phenomenon in cold nuclear matter. A generalization of nuclear matter calculations to the superfluid phase is ...
